If your green spots are on the glass of your aquarium it is green spot algae. You have a lot of light and low phosphorus. If you want to try fertilize by phosphorus be very carefull. A high amount of phosphorus can help to explode grow another algae.

Hi Elly,
Have you tried to scrub them off?

Hmm, well they are definitely diatoms or colonies of radiolaria. They are basically composed of calcium and silica and are very very difficult to remove. I have similar problem with my tank, but they are not harmful to the environment of my tank, so I just avoid them, don’t scrub too hard to scratch the glass, so I guess you should do the same, or if you find anything that will help you in removing them, please let me know.
