You might have noticed that sometimes it seems that a fish is eating, but if you take closer look, they are just sucking on food and then spit it out, so when your fish is spitting out food like this, this means that your fish is full. I had a few fish in my lifetime that have been so eager to catch every piece of falling food that they ended up dying of gluttony. It was so bad that one fish even attacked the other fish as they were trying to eat. They dont know when to stop,but some will stop when full,so you need to only feed small amounts a few times a day as we humans should do as well.And its healthy for your fish to not eat everyday... in the wild they dont some times for days eat so its ok to miss one day aweek.If fact its good for them. jodijaye 2012-08-10
