I recently bought a red parrot Cichlid from petsmart. I have a 36 gallon tank and all of my water levels (ph, nitrates, hardiness and temp are all perfect). She just slowly started developing black around her mouth and small black specs on her body. She won't eat and is very irritated and rubbing up against everything. The man at petsmart stated I needed to treat her for ick and gave me super ick cure. Is this the proper treatment or is she going to starve to death because she won't eat?
