They can live in brackish waters but they prefur fresh. What u need to do is remove the bullhead temporaly and treat the tank seprotlyfrom the bullhead. U should also know that bullheads have no scales so even if you put him in a freshwater tank u would need to remove him befour treatment. joee3196 2012-01-14
