I have been breeding mollies, platties, swordtails and guppies for a few months now, and each time they give birth, there are more fry than the previous batch! Does anyone know what the limit is per batch, because I am now getting around 100 fry per time from each of them, and I have 8 various females producing!

This is on top of the dwarf gouramis, pearl gouramis and angels, which are all breeding like mad. I’m also finding the occasional danios and black neons swimming around in their tanks that weren’t there before. If there is ever a case of being a victim of your own success, this has to be a good example! Since I only went into tropical last year, it’s been a baptism of fire for sure.

If anyone wants a breeding pair and lives in the UK, let me know!

the limit seems to be 110 for mollies, 70 for platties and around 30-40 for guppies.
