My new tank is 60x30x30 cm and I’m not sure which filter I should use. Since my wallet is doesn’t allow me to buy any expensive equpiment, I tend to use classic foam filter. The thing I’m asking: Is there any rule to say what size of foam to use? I don’t want to over-populate, or over-plant my tank, so something ordinary should work . In your case it is about 0,5 liter. Wampa 2008-05-01 Answer no. 2 http://forum.aqua-fish.net/?topic=filter-for-my-new-aquarium#3 I want to correct my mistake. I think 1 percent.
