You can mix them with other slow-moving fish (fish with large fins). Goldfish can be mixed with non-aggressive fish of similar size like they’re of. jan 2008-05-02 Answer no. 2 http://forum.aqua-fish.net/?topic=betta-tankmates#3 Yes if your betta is a female! Well it is just easier to find a tankmate. I kept my female with my guppies and they were fine. Males can also go with females, just make sure it isn’t a fin nipper or anything that looks like it! anonymous 2008-05-02 Answer no. 3 http://forum.aqua-fish.net/?topic=betta-tankmates#4 Well I had the same problem and some fish aren't good to go with a betta!lol. I would suggest getting snails for your betta. Fish to never put in are other male bettas. You could also have femail guppies but never male. The betta fish will just attack it because it is a bright colored fish. I personely think that your goldfish if you don't allready have in with your betta would be fine. Hope this helps! My betta tried to bite the catfis once, same with the yellow snail, then left them all alone after that. The neons can dart away and also they as a group seem maybe large to the betta, so he never bothered them to my knowledge! Hope this helps. sheilakathy 2012-10-07
