Which kind of filter are you using? 1+, 2+, 3+ or 4+? How large is your tank? Which fish have troubles with the filter? I think your filter is powerful too much in comparison to fish. I also count on that your fish are too small. If you kept larger fish they’d be safe. Solution is to put something in front of the filter so it will minimize the chance of being sucked/stucked into the filter, or to buy less powerful filter. jan 2008-05-03 Answer no. 2 http://forum.aqua-fish.net/?topic=filter#3 thank you for the reply iwoke up this monring and found 2 dead fsih and now they are sitting @ the bottom of my tank .. my filter is a fluval +2 anonymous 2008-05-03 Answer no. 3 http://forum.aqua-fish.net/?topic=filter#4 sorry i forgot to say that my tank is a 2 foot one anonymous 2008-05-03 Answer no. 4 http://forum.aqua-fish.net/?topic=filter#5 Hm, tanks size and filter seems to be OK in my opinion. I would focus on potential disease in this case. Since I keep small fish and have very powerful filter in my tank, I can say it’s nearly impossible to suck any mature for a filter. Do your fish have any symptoms? White spots, abnormal colouration/ excrements/ body changes? jan 2008-05-03 Answer no. 5 http://forum.aqua-fish.net/?topic=filter#6 hi ive 2 fish that survied the night ive the filter truned way down now and things seem ok for the time being my fish have no white spt on them @ all. thanks for the reply... anonymous 2008-05-03
