I put the females in one tank in which they are happy and healthy. Each male is kept seperately. I introduced a male about 2 days ago to the spawning tank and kept the female in a jar outside the tank. And my crowntail betta male kept on displaying all day long untill i moved the jar inside the tank then after a day i saw the male building up a bubble nest and really going crazy for the female , althought the female im using for him was already a little bit eggy when i got her from the shop anyways so yesterday morning i release the female with him ,,, he continued displaying and building up the bubble nest , he was gentle with her in the beginning then he started chasing her very fast even in the plants so i put her back into the jar which was kept inside the aqarium thinking she needs more time . This morning since i gotup all i see is the male resting at the bottom of the aqarium away from the female i got really worried and released her and now that they both are free in the tank he dont chase her and dont even go where she is .... i really dont know whats wrong please help me. Yes this is my first ever time to try to breed fishes and after doing a sufficient research on the internet i decided to breed bettas who your help would be highly appreciated thanks.
