I had theories that it might be a light colored flowerhorn but I was not convinced. So I printed out your picture and took it to several different pet stores that specialize in freshwater aquarium fish. Each one said it looked like a flowerhorn and you did say it was an aggressive fish. Jan says it might be a mixture of a flowerhorn and some other type of cichlid.
