I hired a mason to do the stone work and waterfall. He messed up and the waterfall crashed down into my pond, tons of wet cement polluting the water. I had to get the fish out, some of which I've had since 1993 and put them in holding tanks until I could determine my best next course of action. I decided on a temporary setup of a 75 gallon tank, FluVal 405 filter and aerationpump made for a 200 gallon tank. One medium size Koi and 12 comets survived. 1/2 got fin-rot while in the holding tanks for which I medicated them and since the last water change last week they are looking awesome. Fins all grew completely back and all but it was a ton of wark to get to this point. I'm test water twice daily and add required chemicals to keep the water chemistry close to safe as possible for them. I can't wait until spring so I can remake the pond and re-add them to it.
