Danny 2009-01-28 Answer no. 1 http://forum.aqua-fish.net/?topic=wild-snails#2 How large is your tank. Most of the fish from the botia species will eat snail. Yo-Yo loaches are more suited to the smaller aquarium compared to clown loaches which need a lot of tank space. mickey 2009-01-28 Answer no. 2 http://forum.aqua-fish.net/?topic=wild-snails#3 my tank is 45cm by 21cm by 23cm. so wat to do? Danny 2009-01-28 Answer no. 3 http://forum.aqua-fish.net/?topic=wild-snails#4 I would add a couple of yo yo loaches, they will wipe them out in no time mickey 2009-01-30 Answer no. 4 http://forum.aqua-fish.net/?topic=wild-snails#5 depending on the type of snail, they can be good for your tank. I use snails to keep my tanks clean, instead of an algae eater. they breed like crazy too. today, I removed what I thought was all of them from my one gallon, and into my 3 gallon and did a complete water change. soaked and completly roughed up the rocks in boiling hot water and put them back into the tank with clean water. I walked away to get the airstone and came back and there was a large snail, happily traveling along the side. I cant believe that it survived that water.... Amber 2009-02-15
