I was going to feed my fish and I just have seen Swordtails how they were eating something from glass. My Swordtails eat anytning , however I was wondering what do they eat this time. Suddenly, I saw some small balls of about 1mm. Hm, they could be eggs of my three Bronze cories. Other fish couldn’t lay eggs on glass, since I have 15 Neon tetras, three small Bristlenose catfish and three Swordtails. Probably I’m right. What should I do now? In my opinion, Swordtails will eat the eggs and no newborns will born . Do I have to move the eggs or fish? If fish, then all of them, or only Swordtails? I have one 15 litres back-up tank for such cases. Thanks . They lay eggs on the glass or your filter stems, in yourcase it is your glass. Remove the parents or the eggs. Use a single-edged razor blade to (carefully) slice off the eggs after they harden and put them in a half-filled pre-prepared tank. Newborn catlets make very tasty snacks.
