Here’s the chronology. She had them in a 60L tank along with a Betta and some other small fish. She has been cycling a new 120L tank for the last month and recently planted it with various plants. She has been using a CO2 additive to help with the plants. On Sunday last she put the shrimp along with the betta and some other fish into the new 120L tank. Within minutes the shrimp were climbing the vegetation and literally tried to climb out of the tank. As she was away I didn’t know if this was normal so I left them. The following morning I found them all dead and one had actually managed to jump out of the tank. Would anybody know what the problem is? Thank you. If fish or other creatures try to jump/get out of the tank, then it's a sign of something totally unwanted in such a tank. The level of oxygen could be satisfactory for fish. Once again, it could be something else too - it's necessary to perform testing. jan 2011-10-26
