Now he's not eating.<script language='JavaScript' type='text/javascript'> <!-- --> </script> http://forum.aqua-fish.net/?topic=spotted-puffer-s-beak-broken-now-he-s-not-eating-#1 Help! Not sure what to do or how to help him. Have had him for 3+ years in a well established brackish tank. He's ALWAYS the first to swim over for food. Recently he's stopped eating. Later I noticed his mouth looks stuck open, like part of the beak is missing. I know its good for them to break their beaks down, but this doesn't look normal and its keeping him from eating. Anything I can do, or even try to feed him so he doesn't starve while it grows back? Thanks in advances for any suggestions, etc. akcam8 2011-11-16 Answer no. 1 http://forum.aqua-fish.net/?topic=spotted-puffer-s-beak-broken-now-he-s-not-eating-#2 If the mouth of the puffer is stuck open then his beak may be overgrown anyway. If part of it has become detached then I should trim the rest to level it off or take him to a vet who can do this for you, this should allow the puffer to feed properly and to let him close his mouth. mickey 2011-11-19
