Help! Not sure what to do or how to help him. Have had him for 3+ years in a well established brackish tank. He's ALWAYS the first to swim over for food.
Recently he's stopped eating. Later I noticed his mouth looks stuck open, like part of the beak is missing. I know its good for them to break their beaks down, but this doesn't look normal and its keeping him from eating.
Anything I can do, or even try to feed him so he doesn't starve while it grows back?
Thanks in advances for any suggestions, etc.

If the mouth of the puffer is stuck open then his beak may be overgrown anyway. If part of it has become detached then I should trim the rest to level it off or take him to a vet who can do this for you, this should allow the puffer to feed properly and to let him close his mouth.
