Aquarium Forum http://forum.aqua-fish.net/ A forum devoted to aquarium fish, plants, techniques and fish keeping as a whole. en tropical virgin .....hahaha<script language='JavaScript' type='text/javascript'> <!-- --> </script> http://forum.aqua-fish.net/?topic=tropical-virgin-hahaha#1 hi all .... totally new to tropical fish and i love it ...got given a tank and planned to sell it...ended up with somebodys mollies breeding loads of fry going to flushed if not homed wish people would breed animals more responsibly !! they are not "just fish" so we ended up setting up a nursery for all the molly fry when they were big enough we rehomed them all but 3 ... but being as its 150l tank and its already set up now seems a shame to waste it and its far to big for just 3 fish so got 2 peppered corys and all 5 have been happy for a couple of months but was thinking that it was looking a bit dull ....got some nice live plants ..still not enough ...so got 4 male guppys....well i never realised what randy little buggers they are my poor mollies (3 females) it turns out are getting so harrassed now i did research them but obv not enough as it seems i either need to get rid of the guppys (got so attached to them now ) or put in a load more females so at least they will leave my mollies alone but i dont want to breed unwanted babies...but i also wanted to get some neon tetras around 10 but i think with the extra guppys and the neons it would be over crowded as its a square tank ... any advise would be great please x bluecascade1983 2012-01-07 Answer no. 1 http://forum.aqua-fish.net/?topic=tropical-virgin-hahaha#2 You can simply wait for the Guppies to die once they get too old, or you can find some local aquatic forum so you can give them away to someone else. They may even give you some fish food in exchange.
