http://forum.aqua-fish.net/ A forum devoted to aquarium fish, plants, techniques and fish keeping as a whole. en http://forum.aqua-fish.net/?topic=hello-im-new-and-have-a-question-#1 my name is engage and i have a few questions about my Senegal bichir he dosnt seem to be eating i have just bought a breeder net and put him in their for the time being along with some sinking shrimp pellets. last night i seen him eat one and i whaited 3-4 mins and then i removed most of what was left i left maybe one or two in the tank and this morning i wake up and i see my Dojo Louch eating the other pellets that i left in their. any idea why he wasnt eating the food i put in for him? any help is greatly accpted thanks in advance cheers Engage 2012-03-28 http://forum.aqua-fish.net/?topic=hello-im-new-and-have-a-question-#2 Update: i have taken my senegal bichir out of the breeding net this morning he had not eaten any of the food i put in their for him. i come home tonight and i notice that my Dojo louch has grown at least an inch or an inch and a half since this morning and i also want to note that my dojo seems to whait at least 12 hr before eating the shrimp pellets that i put in i walked in to the room 12 or so hours the other day after i had put the shrimp pellets in and seen him cleaning them up witch is great i know that one they are not going to waste and that he is eating well. again any help on this topic would be great. If i should have posted this somewhere else i am sorry to the admins. other than that like i said help or advice would be great i have read in to the bichir and most people say that they watch their fish eat and i know not all fish are the same even if they are the same species.
