Great website I've visited tons of times so decided to join. Just now setting up in the basement 55 gal f.w.tank it was going to include second (sump) tank but the plumbing scared me. So for now I'll wait and get more experience. When I get set up I was thinking either, angelfish or discus both slow current fish? Trouble is my canister filter flow is 383 US GPH = 8.32 times per hour turn over, which is good right? But that is too fast water movement for either of those fish, so I don't know what to do? I guess you can deaden the flow but would it be enough? Any thoughts please.
