My 3 neon fry were laid 4 days ago. They are resting on the bottom and often dart around, but I don't think that is considered free swimming right? I think I will feed them Hikari first bites now anyway. One article said feed them when their yolk sack is almost consumed. I cant see if it is or not. I'm so leary about putting infusoria in there-worried it will foul the water! I can't wait to try for more eggs again in 2 weeks. This time I'll remove the parents asap. Only ones to survive were those that fell thru the craft mesh.

The fry is considered free-swimming once newborns really swim. Egg sac is yellow, when you take a close look at your fish it can be distinguished easily. Artemia salina or microworms are ideal for the fry.

Yes, I am very busy. So accept my apologies since I cannot visit this forum too much. But I'll do my best because I own this website Biggrin .
