My mum accidently bought me a Chinese Algae Eater instead of a Pleco, i have 4 silver dollars, 2 silver sharks, 3 blackskirt tetra's, 1 cory, and 4 neon tetra's.
So i was wondering what will happen when the Algae eater gets bigger ive heard they eat the slime coating on fish if so should i get rid of it?

This can happen but looking at your other fish I think you should be o.k. as they do not produce a thick slime coat as some of the other species do
