Greetings: I just picked up a tank from someone and it came with fish. I have no idea what they are so I am hoping for some help on that matter. Just to be clear, that murky water was when I first set the tank up quickly so that I could return the fish to their home. On day 2, I replaced the flimsy hood with a glass lid, the dim single-bulb light with a nice two bulb T5, the useless Aqua-Clear 300 with an in-tank Fluval 4, the brilliant blue gravel with a finer river-bed brown (natural looking) gravel, and plugged it all in to an APC UPS. Tomorrow I hope to add some plants, a timer for the light, and find out what these fishes are. Here is the tank on day 2. Attached files: Attached image Fresh30gal0148.JPG
