help my fish!

we currently have a 3ft tank that is established for 8 months. We have a mixture of angels, the glass you can see tiny very tiny little white objects (shaped like a grain of rice but a hell of a lot smaller) they are all moving and there s millions of them. the tank seems to be very dirty since they have been ill, however the filter is working fine and water changes are done regular. there is a lot of brown bits that is clinging to the plants. there temperture has been put back to 28d as we raised it to 30 for the treatment process. this evening i found one of our small female plecs and then later our treasured knife fish dead. they had no visable marks at all. we dont know what to do....bit by bit we are slowly losing our treasured family members. please help us! catesie original post: April 24, 2007, 5:11 am this account was created by admin because at old forums it was possible to post as anonymous long time ago Sponsored links

Hi Catesie, Let’s do this: 1) Move all your fish into a bucket with 28°C water. 2) Spill water from the tank into toilet. 3) Boil the gravel and all decorations. 4) Clean the filter and filtration media as much as possible. 5) Put plants into another tank and do not put any plant from exisiting aquarium back. 6) Put fish back into the tank. Fish shouldn’t be in the bucket for more than 6 hours. 7) Use medicaments for treating parasits and white spot for about 1 week. But use it wisely, otherwise your fish could die. You can also use some prevention medicaments later. 8) After 2 weeks you can add new/old plants. the developer of http://www.aqua-fish.net Yes, I am very busy.
