hi the bgk are sold and even though not many people will be happy with me im going to keep the info to myself for a little long to protect mine and the other persons investment in the bgk,s as for the fish magazines and website’s that have offerd to publish the story in how to breed and sex them there going to have to wait a little longer then i will tell the world food, water and sexing its worth more then a free tshirt. and as for the one other person who is ment to of bred them in australia i cant even find a name or an email adress or an excat location so yeah mabe i might be the first ???

You’re not the first, but you’re the one of few who succeeded Biggrin .

I found this link with fry pictures: http://www.gnsaquarium.com.au/html/bgk.html

I personally think that people should be more open for sharing their experiences and ways of how to breed/keep some species. We aren’t at war, we aren’t competitors and so we should be open to each other. Of course I respect everyone’s privacy and feelings.

For example, I have another site where am publishing various ideas and exact experiences/tips on topics which other people sell for money. But it’s up to everyone...

In my opinion, the questions isn’t "if" but "when" anyone who is willing to share experiences for free finds out ways of breeding currently non-breeding species (in captivity). We must do nothing but wait until that point Biggrin . Or we can try it on our own.

hi pete here they were my photos of the black ghost knives.... I worked at gnsaquarium 4 about 6yrs. in qld.. there are 3 or 4 others in qld that bred them about or just after that time.... really cool and not to mention mind blowing.... one of mother natures true masterpieces.... how the hell they evolved that way was pure genious..... a truly (beautiful fish) freak of a fish.... congrats shane... hope u managed to raise heaps...
