Hi all. A silly question, but I’m a newbie. Is there any way that we can differentiate between a male and a female betta?

Thanks!

Yes, you absolutely can differentiate between a female and a male betta. Female bettas have short dorsal, anal, and caudal fins and they are not brightly colored, whereas male bettas have a rather long dorsal, anal, and caudal fins and are very brightly colored.
