hi my venstus is sick he is not eating and is allways hiding we had our water checked and everything was fine we were feeding then flakes up until all the fish went of there food so we changed to pellets and fry he was eating that but went off it again he was stragaling to take breathes so we did a 50% water change and the next day was breathing a little better but still did not eat if he does not eat he will die is there anything we can try.we just lost a jack dempsey with the same problem. original post: April 15, 2008, 12:12 am Sponsored links

have you added any new fish to the tank recently without quarantining the stock. symptoms sound like there could be a bacterial problem .Is the fish showing laboured breathing http://www.fishtankforum.co.uk
