hi i am so glad to find you i hope you can help me, i have been having luck breeding cory's guppies and kribs, i am very excited about this. but the other day i moved some baby cory's to a bigger tank and had disaster, the filter in my big tanks a good filters but they ate my babies, the babies were a good size and i thought to big to go in the grid how wrong was i. Q is there a filter out there made for rearing on young or very small fish? where would i go to find one?

The best filters for raising fry are the air driven sponge filters. They are available in most pet stores and cost very little money

I have seen the inlets covered over before but I still prefer to use the sponge filters just in case.

I use an air-powered filter. I cut a net and wrap it around the filter and secure it with a rubber-band.
