i want to get 1 male guppy,1 female guppy, 1 male swordtail, 1 female swortail, 1 male platy, 1 female platy and a slimesucker(if someone knows there actual name i would like the info) are these good begginer fish for a 25 gallon hex tanks and will they breed?

Guppies will breed (very likely), Platies should breed too. I don't know what is a slimesucker. Swordtails are OK too.

Except for that unknown, they're good for such a tank in my opinion.

But... once they breed, you'll have to give or sell the newborns once they are 2-3 months old. Otherwise there will be too much of nitratres, nitrites, in your aquarium.... Livebearers usually produce plenty of excrements.

Loads of babies if you add that lot together, as Jan has posted make sure you have somewhere to move the fry on to in the future.

I have never heard of a slimesucker either

By slime sucker im sure you mean pleco's and they have a wide variety
