The best is about 10-12 hours. But if you have a shiny room try 10 hours. I have light on from 11:00-21:00 hour. And is it dened on your plants. Some need long time and some only short. Which plants do you have ???

Wampa is right, you have not mentioned the type of aquarium you have, as different types of aquariums have different light requirements.

hi Rose.

The photoperiod required for your aquarium is approximately 10-12 hours.
