Hi!
I just registered and tried to adjust my identity settings, but I can’t get my avatar picture to show!?
It’s 50x46 pxl and I had it stored in my Photobucket account and used the image URL from there, but still it doesn’t show?
Before when I tried to show another picture it didn’t work as well, but Photobucket use big letters like , when I changed them to small letters the picture showed!
Here’s a test using my Avatar picture, only the bottom URL with small letters will open the picture!

Attached image

I tried to do the same when I tried to upload it as my Avatar, but it still didn’t work though?

Strange things are happening here indeed! Ohmy
Now I was suddenly logged out?
I will try again for the last time!
My problem is that my avatar picture will not show?
It’s 50x46 pix and I stored it on Photobucket and used the image URL from there.
I also had problems earlier to show another picture in a posting I made.
When I used the URL with big letters from Photobucket it didn’t show, but
when I changed the letters in the URL to small it works!
I tried to do the same with my avatar but it still won’t show!?
What amI doing wrong?

Hello Jan Biggrin , Nice to see you here.

The problem was that you were using img within the URL. I removed that img declaration and your avatar is now on-line.

Postings disappeared because you used images declaration so the site engine recognised it as image instead of text. Please, use images and other allowed elements declaration if it’s being used properly. I know, I should upgrade the engine in order to detect these things. So it has been added to my "to do" list Biggrin .

I hope that everything’s fine now.

Yes, I am very busy. So accept my apologies since I cannot visit this forum too much. But I'll do my best because I own this website Biggrin .

RE log-out: Automated log-out might be caused by several factors. The site has many security "safety-belts". I know this might be a little paranoid, but I want the users to be completely safe. Basically if you were logged in for some longer period, the session will expire for sure. The session doesn’t re-new, so if it exceeds some pre-defined time, you’re off.

And RE some posts disappeared: This was probably caused by incorrect interpretation of img element. Sometimes the engine doesn’t allow the post to be published because it doesn’t fit anti-spam criteria. But this happens with posts which contain "bad" content only.
