what equipment do you all have to keep you tanks pristine.
I use a soft cloth for general cleaning
bottle brushes for cleaning the filter impellers
non-scratch scouring pads
my old favourite-a toothbrush to clean the awkward areas
Algae magnet
Special vinegar mix for cleaning the outside glass
Now I have a 2' deep tank-a long handled pad

I use those aquarium wipes because they say it stunts algae growth. I guess it works because I don't get that algae growing on the glass anymore. I also use a powerful spray from my sink hose to get to all the hard to reach places inside the filter tubes. I must say it works quite well. The toothbrush never even got my pipes that clean.
