As you are just starting to build a tank, just get some killfish initially and avoid Oscars and catfish, as they are the predators and will eat up all of the other fishes and do get some otocinclus catfish as they prevent rapid algae growth. good luck, sarah this account was created by admin because at old forums it was possible to post as anonymous long time ago

It depends on what fish you want to have in your aquarium. But the basic things, you should have is: - tank - light - filter - gravel - maybe some decorations and plants - if you live in colder areas, termometer and heater I think this is all
