Recently we have received another message from our visitor. So that’s why I am posting it here.

My son’s guppy fish has just had babies, what do we have to feed them?

Samantha

So my answer is this:

1) Artemia salina,
2) Crushed granules.

Basically, Guppies fry will accept crushed granules since they are livebearers. This is also my personal experience with Guppies.

Mick, could you take a video how newborns eat egg yolk, please (and then post the link into this forum)? I tried this when I raised gouramis, but I am not sure if they ate the yolk. All I saw was that the water got dirty Sad .

would have loved to Jan but I no longer run my breeding tanks. All I did was squeeze it through some muslin and the fry went mad for it.Yes it does cloud the water but when you are doing 75% daily water changes with the fry it soon cleared it up
