I thought I was doing good with my aquarium. Well, until my husband's 88 year old grandmother moved in and fed my fish everytime she ate. LOL!!! I have a 75 gallon freshwater tank with different Tetras, molllies, 2 sharks, and an algae eater, about 12-14 fish. As you can probably can tell, I am definitely an amateur. In the last week, all of my fish, except 3 tetras and the algae eater, died. I really want some African Ciclids but don't what to do next. Does anyone have any advice?

Keep all fish food out of your husband's grandmother's hands.

I had a similar problem with one person and I just had to say "Stop doing it!". He stopped.
the developer of http://www.aqua-fish.net Cool

Yes, I am very busy. So accept my apologies since I cannot visit this forum too much. But I'll do my best because I own this website Biggrin .

i'd do a massive (60%)waterchange asap-uneaten food in your rocks, etc can multiply the ammonia problem that you will have because the fish were overfed.

i would not add any fish to that tank until it stabilizes-have your local fish store test your water after a water change.
