For me it looks like Pacu or Piranha. See them here: http://www.aqua-fish.net/show.php?h=pacu. I may be wrong because I have no experiences with these species.
the developer of http://www.aqua-fish.net Cool

Yes, I am very busy. So accept my apologies since I cannot visit this forum too much. But I'll do my best because I own this website Biggrin .

Goodgrief I agree with the first post. If Piranha then be concerned a little for your other fish, keep a watchful eye out for fin and tail munching which Piranha are noted for. Pacu, if my memory dos`nt fail me are fruit eaters. But my money is on Piranha.

This is was the 2 meanest species of pirahna look like attached below, the only thing i could find it resembled was a large silver dollar because of its face and 2 spots behind its eyes, i have never seen 1 with fins like that before but its definatly not a pirahna of pacu they look too differn't.

Guys, that is a pacu, not a piranha, there is no lower over bite and my pacu at home is a spitting image of his fish. a piranha of that size would be very distinctive and unmistakable.
