just want to introduce myself, my name is blake.. i have two tanks, a 55gal which is the home to my tiger oscar, 2 plecostomus, and 2 red tailed shark. i also have a 110gal which is the home to african cichlids, tiger loaches, plecostomus's, and silver barb.

and yes i know that 2 red tailed shark arent good together but mine are. at first one was dominate but now not at all. the oscar keeps them best friends in hiding.

The first tank sounds a little overcrowded, have you considered your oscars potential size? sound like you enjoy good fish though :)

interesting comment about the red tailed sharks, this is one of the joys of fish keeping, what doesn't work for some people works for others, I kept a couple of red tailed sharks together a few years ago and never had any problems.
