Looking to get back into FW aquariums. Getting a 55g for xmas from the wife and would love to set it up as realistic as possible. I know a lot of folks like neons and goldfish but I find them boring. I tend toward the aggressive fish such as oscars, cichlids and the like. I also know that having been out of the hobby for many years, I might as well consider myself a rank newb to the hobby, that way I don't miss anything. Any suggestions are always appreciated.
