from what i'm reading i should wait for the tank to cycle before planting anything is that right? i'm assuming that the chemical changes while it cycles would hurt plants like it hurts fish. also sunglow bulbs are those the kind of bulbs i should use for a planted tank, if not any sugestions?

cycling the tank will not affect your plants. It is best to get them in at least 2 weeks before your fish are added to give them time to root and settle down
