Hi! I'm new here but would like some info on Oskars before getting any. First off my story...I had clown loaches for 3 years and this summer as I was out of town, my babysitter...fishsitter lost my clowns due to overheat in the aquarium. My clown loaches grew very slowly and yes, I was devastated when I heard they had died. Yes, I have advised our "fishsitter" about the frozen 2l pop bottles in the freezer to keep the aquarium temperatures down. I did mention that before but think he will know always remember why I mentioned it to him. Now I'm looking at getting Oskars. I have a 90 gal. cause of a full grown plec whose about 13 in. I would like to get another big fish for the tank. Can I go 2 oskars from babies or should I only get one to grow up? No other fish are in the tank. Thx...trying to do my research before getting another fish.

A 90 gallon tank is large enough for 2 juvenile Oscars, as they grow a pair will need a 150 gallon tank, might be best to get the one Oscar and grow it on to an adult.
