now how many of us have protein skimmers? they are a very important part to your system. they remove dissolved organics that can become harmful for the fish. once you get one you will see how much junk it has pulled out of your tank. these are very important pieces of equipment, and I highly recommend them, especially if you have corals or a heavy bio load.

if you have one, tell me what kind you have, and whether it is an in sump or hang on the back skimmer.
