I have a Purple Parrot in my tank and when I first got him he would swim around the tank when no one was around and hide when someone walked by. Well now he is hiding but he is floating to the top of whatever log he is under and lying flat agianst it. Is is sick? or just weird? Help I don't want him to die I kinda like the little booger. Have you tested the water? It could look like there is some dangerous metal in the water that's causing problems with nerves. Tests on metals are usually expensive... . it's just a thought, I could be wrong. the developer of http://www.aqua-fish.net Yes, I am very busy. Well after I wrote this 2 days later he came out of the top of his log and started acting normal agian. But the funny thing is before he went into hiding he started turning a black brown color on his fins and upper body I thought he might have been one that was injected but when he came out of hiding he was orange agian. Weird huh? He eats fine now and acts normal so I guess he is just weird LOL
