Hi all,

My First tank is cycling and i'll be adding my first fish on sunday. I have been working on a list of fish I would like to put into my tank over a period of time (not necessarily in this order) and am hoping someone can check if they will be fine together. I have based my choice on a few things including size, preferred area of tank, PH, Temp, Max size and whether they are best in groups (single, pair, shoal etc)

My tank info i listed in my signature and i'll be adding a few plants and obstacles/ornaments/hideaways. obviously I dont want to overcrowd the tank and am basing qty's on 1 inch per gallon of water.

Here Goes:

3 or 4 Zebra Danio
2 Ram Cichlid or Kribensis
1 Red Tailed or Rainbow Shark
1 red line torpedo barb
1 Siamese Fighter

if there is any advice with choice can you let me know as I have been racking my brains on what to get

Thanks

Kev

Hi Kev and welcome to the forum.
Nice to see you have researched.
I would go for the kribensis as rams need a mature tank and can be difficult to keep long term.
Everything else looks fine to me.
I must admit I am more of a tetra fan than danios but that is personal choice
