Hey everyone,

I was wandering if anyone could awnser some questions I have about apple snail care. I was reading on some diffrent sites, and one of them said to add Kent Marine Liquid Calcium and Kent Marine Super Iodineā„¢ Supplement, also does anyone know which is the better pH level 7.5 or 8.2.

ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED!

I keep my apple snails at a pH of 7 and they are perfectly fine without adding any form of additives

My Apple snails live in aquariums with pH of 6.5-7.5. Depends on water changes and so on. In fact, I don't care about pH too much. Instead, I put some sea shells in there so they can get Calcium at any time. I found Calcium to be more important than pH.

Yes, I am very busy. So accept my apologies since I cannot visit this forum too much. But I'll do my best because I own this website Biggrin .

I've added Kents calcium on occasion. Also, did you know that some of them will eat human calcium pills? I've had some that do, some don't but the mess it leaves behind is why I stopped. Also I use coral gravel in the tanks, which adds some calcium and hardness to the water as well. Spinach and other calcium containing vegetables can be fed as well.
