Hello,

Do you have any experience with african cichlids and snails in one tank? I would like to put some Ampullaria snails there since they’re good algae eaters. Will they survive or will cichlids kill them?

Cichlis will probably kill all snails even if they’re large or not (I mean snails). However, Scalare or other peaceful cichlids live with snails in peace Wink . So it depends if your fish are aggressive or not. Also, small and peaceful fish will let them be.
