Greetings Sir,Madam,

I apologize in advance for troubling you guys. I have a question concerning my pair of Discus. I bought a Pair of full grown Discus two weeks ago from a friend. I set up a bare bottom tank, mainly for the purpose of breeding the pair. They seem to be in good health. My water parameters was set to fit the Discus' needs. They were eating fine last week. Then a week later, I noticed the female starts to clamped one of her pectoral fins but were still having an enormous appetite. Two days later, the male started to clamped one of his pectoral fins aswell and they both were eating fine. Two days ago, both the male and female secretes more slime than usual and were not eating at all. I tried all live foods and they only either chew and spit, or not touched at all. From the first day I bought them till now, they seem to do a lot of twitching/shimmering.

The food i gave them consist of
Live brine shrimp
Live black worm
Frozen blood worm
Beef heart

I change 10-20% water daily after Beefheart meal.
Ph 6.8
Ammonia 0.5
Forgot values of others but in good ranges.

With your experiences, can you guys please enlighten me on what type of diseases or problems my discus is facing and how to treat those problems?
Thanks you in advance for your helps.

Ryan N.
