One of my Angel fish which is seperate from all others in a 20gallon tank is able to change pattern and colouration in a matter of minutes. Hi, it is normal for Angel fish. They do that when they get scared. By the way, how high is your aquarium? Because they need high aquarium and 20 gallons doesn´t sound like a big aquarium. this account was created by admin because at old forums it was possible to post as anonymous long time ago

I agree with Anonymous . 20 litres is too low even for 1 Angel fish. I keep 9 of these beautiful species and my tank has 470 litres. I don’t keep other fish which swim at their swimming area... Only some plecos. BTW, maybe you could start a new tank with Angel fish only . They look terrific if kept in large planted tanks . I Angel fish! thank you for your comments , do not worry the Angelfish is only a juvenile and is on his own in the 20 gallon, he will be merged with 6 other juveniles into the main tank in about 2 weeks. From Ackerz P.s that cleared my confusion up I could not find info on this anywhere,T.Y Ackerz
