My male betta won't blow bubbles! He did the first time around while breeding but the next time he didn't and the eggs kept falling down. None of these fry survived but a few from the first breeding survived. What can I do to take care of this problem?

He did blow bubbles while alone in his bowl but when I put him into the breeding tank and then introduced a female, nothing.

is there any water current in the breeding tank, if there is it won't help.Just use a sponge filter with the outlet pointed towards the tank glass. Add some floating plants, this will make it easier for the male to build a nest
