i have a 12“ tiger oscar everyone says that they let you know when there hungry and act happy to see you but mine swims away to the bottom when i open the tank why is this do’s anyone no?

Your Oscar hasn't settled in the tank properly and is showing signs of being moody. How large is the tank as for a 12" Oscar the tank should be at least 50 gallons and to keep the water quality high regular water changes must be performed at least 15 % weekly

i have it in a 100g tank i think its is coming around now it is starting to come a little closer to top each time could it be that i bought him this big and he dosnt no me well enough yet cause he has all kinds of energy n dosnt act in shock,sick or stress thanks for everything guys.
