How large is your tank.
Most of the fish from the botia species will eat snail. Yo-Yo loaches are more suited to the smaller aquarium compared to clown loaches which need a lot of tank space.

depending on the type of snail, they can be good for your tank. I use snails to keep my tanks clean, instead of an algae eater. they breed like crazy too. today, I removed what I thought was all of them from my one gallon, and into my 3 gallon and did a complete water change. soaked and completly roughed up the rocks in boiling hot water and put them back into the tank with clean water. I walked away to get the airstone and came back and there was a large snail, happily traveling along the side. I cant believe that it survived that water.... Ohmy
